Healthcare Summit 2026 takes place on Tuesday 22nd September 2026 at the Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, Islington, London N1 0QH, running from 09:00 to 17:00. Organised by Nexus Media Group, the one-day event is positioned under the banner "Leading the Agenda for the Future of Healthcare" and is designed to bring together the operators, investors and advisors who shape the UK's private and public health and care markets. The organisers expect around 1,000 attendees, 30 exhibitors and more than 100 speakers, making it one of the larger cross-sector gatherings in the UK healthcare calendar.

The summit's stated purpose is to provide market updates, expert insight and structured networking across the full breadth of the sector. Rather than a single plenary track, the programme is broken into a series of specialist streams that allow delegates to follow the themes most relevant to their business. These include a CFO Stream focused on finance, funding and margin pressure; a CTO Stream covering digital infrastructure and technology leadership; a dedicated Health Tech Stream looking at innovation and its adoption; and a Property Stream addressing healthcare real estate, development and sale-and-leaseback activity. Sector-specific streams cover Dental, Social Care and Complex Care, while a Public to Private Stream examines the growing interface between NHS commissioning and independent provision, including outsourcing, insourcing and partnership models.

The speaker line-up reflects that mix of provider, policy and investor perspectives. Confirmed names include Alex Perry, Chief Executive of Nuffield Health; Barny Guthrie, CEO of Clinical Partners; Tim Davies, CEO of ivolve Group; Sarah Woolnough, Chief Executive of The King's Fund; and Chris Hopson, former Chief Strategy Officer at NHS England. Between them they span the largest independent healthcare charity, mental health services, specialist care, health policy think-tank leadership and senior NHS strategy, which signals that the content will move between commercial operating realities and the wider system-level agenda.

The sponsor and partner roster is heavily weighted toward the advisory and capital ecosystem that supports healthcare transactions and operations. Care Inspections UK is the main sponsor. Banking partners include Barclays, Virgin Money, NatWest and HSBC, indicating a strong lending and deal-finance presence. Legal partners include DAC Beachcroft, Ashfords, Freeths and Hill Dickinson, all firms with established healthcare and social care practices. Technology partners include OneAdvanced, RLDatix and Cloda, covering care management software, patient safety and risk platforms, and workforce and data tools.

Access is deliberately broad. The event is marketed to healthcare investors, advisors and operators, but complimentary tickets are offered to UK care and healthcare professionals working within the NHS, CCG or ICB bodies, local authorities, primary and secondary care, private hospitals, private care and social care. This free-entry policy for frontline and public-sector delegates is a notable feature and helps explain the scale of the audience. Paid tickets, along with sponsorship and exhibition packages, are available through the event website.

The summit is a concentrated opportunity to meet operators, lenders, law firms and investors active in UK health and care M&A on a single day, with the specialist streams, particularly CFO, Property, Public to Private and Health Tech, offering the clearest view of where capital and deal activity are heading into 2027.
